As part of our commitment to providing world-class ventilation and air conditioning systems, we are delighted to have played a key role in ensuring the well-being of the diverse animal population at the Municipal Zoological Garden in Łódź. Founded in 1938, the zoo is a hub of biodiversity, with 3,350 animals from 554 species in 2022.

This unique institution is the only zoo in Poland to showcase extraordinary species such as Amazonian piranhas, Sumatran orangutans, gavial crocodiles and forest dogs. In particular, in 1996 the Lodz Zoo introduced Asian lions, setting a precedent as the first institution of its kind in Poland.

One of the zoo’s most captivating features is the Orientarium, due to open in 2022, which will be Europe’s most advanced animal complex dedicated to the fascinating fauna of Southeast Asia. This sprawling 33,000m², multi-storey structure will ensure the comfort and well-being of the diverse creatures it houses.
